Requirements
- Graduate with 2–7 years of experience in Air Export Pricing (preferably in freight forwarding/logistics).
- Strong knowledge of air cargo operations, pricing, and documentation.
- Good communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and deliver within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/Freight forwarding systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Promptly attend and respond to customer enquiries.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with airlines, sub-agents, destination offices, and transporters.
- Understand customer needs and provide effective, customized solutions.
- Coordinate with local shippers, destination offices, and CHA for smooth shipment handling.
- Update shipment status, track deliveries, and ensure proactive follow-ups.
- Maintain daily status reports and share with management/customers.
- Participate in cargo planning and ensure committed cargo volumes with airlines are met.
- Provide timely and competitive rate quotations for spot queries.
- Lead and guide the pricing team to ensure timely and accurate responses to all enquiries.
- Monitor market trends, airline capacity, and competitor rates to support rate strategy.
- Collaborate with management to achieve pricing and profitability targets.
